Jula's central warehouse gets its first solar park

The roof of the 178,000 square metre building of Jula's Central Warehouse will receive its first solar panels. The first step involves no less than 6160 panels that together have an output of 3MW. In total, the panels are estimated to produce 2380 MWh of electricity during a year, which corresponds to about half the annual electricity consumption of Jula's central warehouse.

"This is an important step for Jula's climate commitment, as we will be climate neutral in energy use and transport by 2030. One of the goals is to only buy electricity from renewable sources. Through this installation, we are now making our own electricity that we can use in our operations," says Lennart Karlsson, CEO of Jula Logistics.
