The expansion of the central warehouse is inaugurated

The new extension of Jula’s central warehouse in Skara is inaugurated. The inauguration sees over 6000 curious locals from Skaraborg come to have a look at the enormous warehouse, one of the biggest in the world of this type, with everything under one roof.

The storage space was previously 110,000 square metres, but the new expansion brings the total area up to 150,000 square metres. The new warehouse is a so-called compact warehouse, with a capacity for about 110,000 pallet places. The storage capacity has been doubled, so that Jula’s central warehouse in Skara now has a total capacity of about 220,000 pallet places.

During the year Jula has a turnover of SEK 5.4 billion, 2800 employees, and 82 department stores in three countries.
