New sustainable initiatives

Jula will be climate neutral by 2030 and through cooperation with our carriers, we have made demands that the vehicle fleet shall prepare for fossil-free alternatives. We have therefore invested in an HVO (Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil) tank located by the central warehouse in Skara and which was put into service in February.

We have also invested in charging points for electric cars located at Jula's head office and Julahotellet in Skara. There is a demand for this type of service among our visitors and employees and we see it as a prerequisite for remaining competitive as an employer while contributing to achieving the climate goals.
